Chicken shashlik. step by step
- Pound the boneless chicken.. cut into 1 inch cubes...now add chicken in a bowl... add marinated ingredients and mix well, marinate in refrigerator for almost half an hour....
- Take chunks and mince using knife as fine as u can.... set aside....
- Skewer sauce : In a separate bowl, mix chilli sauce and BBQ sauce and keep aside....
- Gravy: In a pan add oil and saute garlic paste until fragrant.... do not let it brown... Now add minced chicken and cook on medium to high flame until chicken is cooked... Add tomato puree,chilli sauce,ketchup, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce...add enough water to make the gravy consistency to your liking.. preferably thick consistency..Now add chopped capsicum.. bring the sauce to boil and after 1 -2 minutes, turn off the heat. Capsicum should not be soft...
- Skewer preparation: peel a medium sized onion and cut into 1 inch cubes, same size as the chicken...Remove seeds from the green capsicum and cut into 1 inch chunks... cut tomatoes into 1 inch cubes..
